Switching to SSO

Updated this week

If you already had an elyvate account before SSO was enabled

If you were using elyvate before your organization enabled Single Sign-On (SSO), here’s what happens:

  • Your account is automatically matched using your email address

  • All existing data, projects, and permissions remain unchanged

  • You may need to log in once via SSO or reset your password

Always use the same email address you used previously to ensure your account is linked correctly.

Why SSO users may see a different login experience

When SSO is enabled, elyvate connects to your company’s identity provider (IdP) via Auth0, an enterprise-grade authentication service.

This means:

  • User identities are managed by your organization

  • Password rules and access policies are controlled centrally by IT

  • elyvate no longer stores or validates corporate passwords

This behavior is expected and ensures compliance with enterprise security and access standards.
