Change password or other personal information as SSO user

Updated this week

Why you can no longer change your password in elyvate

If you log in to elyvate using Single Sign-On (SSO), your login credentials are managed by your organization—not by elyvate.

This means:

  • Your password is controlled by your company's identity provider (for example, Microsoft Entra ID)

  • elyvate does not store, validate, or change corporate passwords

  • Password changes must be made through your company's IT systems

As a result, you can no longer change your password directly in elyvate.

Why personal information is also managed by your company

When SSO is enabled, your core profile information syncs from your organization's identity provider.

This typically includes:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Login credentials

These fields are locked to ensure:

  • Data consistency across systems

  • Compliance with company security policies

  • Centralized identity management

What you can still edit in elyvate

You can still manage non-identity information directly in elyvate, such as:

  • Department

  • Job title

  • Other contextual profile details

These fields improve collaboration and reporting but don't affect authentication or access control.

Need to update restricted information?

To change your:

  • Password

  • Name

  • Email address

Contact your internal IT or HR team. They'll update it in your company's identity system, and the change will automatically sync to elyvate.
