User deactivation

Accounts deactivate after 90 days without login - what that means and how to reactivate.

What happens when someone stops logging in, what the Inactive indicator means, and how to bring them back.

Automatic deactivation

Users are automatically deactivated after 90 days without logging in. Deactivated users are marked with an Inactive indicator, so it's always clear who still has an active footprint in the workspace.

What deactivation means

Deactivation is not deletion. The account can no longer be used, but everything stays preserved: every measure, work package and project association remains exactly where it is. Nothing is unassigned, nothing is lost.

When a deactivated user tries to log in, they land on a page telling them their account is inactive.

Reactivating a user

To reactivate a deactivated account, reach out to elyvate at [email protected]. Once reactivated, access is restored together with all assignments, so the person picks up exactly where they left off.

Deactivation vs. removal

Deactivation is reversible and preserves everything. To permanently remove someone's access, see How to remove a team member.
