Managing access at project level

How project access works: membership, invitations, Guests for external stakeholders, and revoking.

Who sees a project, and how access is granted and taken away.

You see what you're part of

elyvate shows people the projects they're members of. If a project doesn't appear in someone's overview, they're not a member of it yet.

Granting access

Access is granted by invitation from the Members tabs: project-wide from Project Details → Members, or per work package from WP Details → Members (see How to invite team members). The role chosen at invitation decides what the person can do (see Roles overview).

External stakeholders

For people who should follow along without editing, clients, partners or management outside the working team, invite them as Guests: they see the working level of their work packages and can comment on measures, but can't create or edit project content.

Revoking access

Removing someone from a project or work package takes their access away immediately, while the work stays in place (see How to remove a team member).
