When a work package has many KPIs, the ones that matter most deserve the spotlight. Favoriting a KPI turns it into a Top KPI - featured prominently on the work package One Pager where your team and stakeholders see it first.
How to favorite a KPI
Open the KPI Collection view of your work package to see all active KPIs. To favorite a KPI, simply click the star icon next to it.
The star turns filled, and the KPI is now a Top KPI. Click the star again to remove it from the Top KPIs.
Where favorited KPIs appear
Top KPIs are displayed in the middle section of the work package One Pager - as charts showing actual values plotted against the defined target over calendar weeks. This is the central execution view of each work package.
Because the One Pager is what stakeholders see first, your choice of Top KPIs shapes the story your work package tells. Choose the KPIs that best reflect the true health and progress of the work.
Top KPIs in reporting
Top KPIs carry through to reporting: when building the work package report, your starred KPIs are ready for selection in the report wizard - up to four fit on the report page, and additional KPIs can be added through the KPI deep dive (see Create your work package report).
Best practices
Keep the set small - three to four Top KPIs give a sharper picture than ten
Review your Top KPIs when the work package enters a new phase - what mattered during ramp-up may differ from series production
Align with your Work Package Lead so the featured KPIs match what leadership expects to see
