Once the work package reports are in and the SteerCo has met, the Project Lead closes the cycle: assemble the final report, export it, and send it to Upper Management. It all happens from the Reports tab (see How reporting works in elyvate for the full cycle). Completing and exporting is the Project Lead's job: Consultants technically have the access, but the report should come from the Project Lead.
The Reports tab
The Reports tab shows the state of the cycle at a glance: which work package reports are ready and which are still pending, with a preview of every submitted one pager. The Top management summary lives here too: write it directly, edit it, or pull in last cycle's version with Retrieve last content, and it stays in sync with the report wizard.
Completing the report
Click Complete report to open the report wizard. It works like the work package wizard, with a live preview, and covers three sections:
Top management summary: write it or let AI do the first pass, Draft when it's empty, Update when it isn't. Toggle Show all work packages to include every one pager, or switch it off and select individual work packages
Work package reports: open each work package to see exactly what its lead submitted, and edit anything: the weekly progress, the selected measures, the KPIs and the targets. The same fit logic applies, too many measures and you choose between Make it fit and Remove
SteerCo notes: everything captured live in the meeting, the measures, the decisions and the information text, reviewable and editable before it goes into the report
Export and send
When you finish, elyvate confirms the reporting cycle is done and offers Export report. Two things happen automatically the moment you export:
elyvate saves a snapshot of the project's state for the cycle, so this report always reflects what was true at the time
All completed measures are archived (see Measure statuses)
The export is a PowerPoint presentation. Fine-tune it on your machine if you like, then send it to Upper Management from your own email: elyvate prepares the deck but doesn't send it. That closes the cycle, and the next one starts on the project's reporting rhythm.
